Matthew became the first associate of Shore Freeman Mills in September of 2006. He was born and raised near Dallas, Texas, left briefly to earn his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, then returned to the Dallas area where he worked for an industry-leading aerospace subcontractor prior to attending law school. With a background in engineering and computer science, Mr. Wolcott brings a breadth of technical knowledge to the firm’s intellectual property practice.

Mr. Wolcott actively participates in all areas of Shore Freeman Mills’s practice with an emphasis on intellectual property and oil and gas litigation.
Experience
While in law school, Mr. Wolcott served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Harlin D. Hale, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Texas.
