A trial lawyer with experience serving clients in the oil and gas industry, Doug joined Shore Freeman Mills as an associate in August of 2007. Raised in East Texas, Doug graduated from Daingerfield High School in 1990. Mr. Reeder earned his B.A. in Political Science from Texas A & M-Commerce before attending law school at the University of Houston Law Center.

Experience

Mr. Reeder began his legal career with Gardere Wynne Sewell in Houston, Texas. While with Gardere, Doug’s practice focused on commercial, oil and gas, and construction litigation, as well as, general personal injury defense. As an attorney with Gardere, Mr. Reeder’s representative clients included Baker Hughes, Inc., Smith International, Inc., Clear Channel Communications, Inc. and the Houston Astros.

Doug is married to Angie Reeder, and has two children, Zane and Noah.
